From now on Caravaggio Opal P2 will be delivered with a new suspension that includes steel wire and balancing slit. Visually only very little has changed but the new suspension offers a stabilizing effect as the wire can be adjusted separately and hence balance the glass.
Since the introduction Caravaggio Opal P3 has been delivered with steel wire. From end of this week (week 45) the suspension will also include a balancing slit (as described above).
All Caravaggio Opal glass shades are genuine handwork executed in 3-layer opal hand-blown glass. The new suspensions are introduced to remedy eventual variations in the thickness of the glass and with that a lack of balance in the pendant.
